Fire Wardens / Marshals & Fire Risk Assessment Training Course
Aim
The Aim is to brief Fire Wardens/Marshals on their role within the current Site Fire Plans. To be able to complete a Fire Risk assessment for the premise.
Who should attend?
Fire Wardens/Marshals, lone and vulnerable workers, particularly those working unsocial hours or in isolated locations with minimal support. Those responsible for writing a Fire Risk Assessment.
Qualification
Delegates will receive an attendance certificate recording the outcome of their assessment test.
Duration
One day.
Course Structure
The course is structured into 7 Units. Training includes a wide variety of learning methods including formal presentation, individual and group activities and practical use of extinguishers.

Unit 2 The role of the Fire Warden/Marshal
Unit 3 Theory of fire
Unit 4 Fire prevention and suppression
Unit 5 Evacuation and communication
Unit 6 Practical use of extinguishers
