AIM
The Aim of the course is to train employees to be able to use an AED in the work place and will
supplement an existing first aid qualification.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All personnel who may have to deal with incidents in the workplace involving an AED.
QUALIFICATION
Delegates will receive a certificate valid for 1 year.
DURATION
The duration of the course is 4 hours contact time.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Training includes a wide variety of learning methods including formal presentation and individual and group activities. There are theory and practical sessions to include:
- Emergency action planning
- Managing the unconscious casualty
- Cardio-Pulmonary resuscitation
- Using an AED
